Keep It Fresh: Once you have made your cleaner, deodorizer, and natural disinfecting spray, it is best to use it within 2 weeks. After that, it gradually loses its effectiveness. Since Force of Nature replaces most of your other cleaners, it is easy to use it up within 2 weeks. Most people use about a bottle per week.

Have Hard Water? If your water has a high mineral content (>100 ppm), it is recommended to use a water softener or reverse osmosis filtered water instead of tap water. The minerals in hard water can interfere with the chemistry of the appliance and shorten its lifespan.
